A new collaborative space dedicated to players in the ecological transition

Following on from the coworking space at the Halle aux Cuirs in the Parc de la Villette, KRE Concept has just delivered, for OASIS 21, the Fab City Hub Paris on rue de Mouzaia, a 1,000 m² third-party innovation space dedicated to players in the ecological and civic transitions.

The project is part of a major program to renovate the "brutalist" architectural building designed by Claude Parent in 1974, which will be turned into a student residence by Canal Architecture in 2021.

Comprising 60 shared and private offices, meeting rooms, a shared kitchen, a fablab and an event space, the Fab City Hub will be built around a patio over a total surface area of 1,000 m².

In keeping with the values advocated by the project owner, the materials used are ecological and bio-sourced: compressed wood wool ceilings, hemp insulation, seaweed-based paint, particleboard lining and linoleum flooring made from natural materials.
